About Me

Who I Am

I am currently completing my second year at Drake University where I have a double major in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, with a minor in Cybersecurity. While attending Ankeny High School I took concurrent courses at Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC), allowing me to start Drake with 22 credits.

At Drake, I am an active participant in the Coding Club and Cyber Club. I was selected for membership in the Inclusive Scholars for Digital Proficiency group, the Adams Leadership Institute and the Wellmark mentorship program. I participate in SECDSM (a networking organization for cybersecurity professionals in the Des Moines area). I have volunteered at multiple Special Olympics events, Meals from the Heartland and Habitat for Humanity. I also work part time as a lifeguard at DMACC.

Cybersecurity Testing Environment

Spearheaded the development and deployment of a dual node Proxmox cluster at Drake University for cybersecurity students to experiment with different systems.

ISEAGE Cyber Defense Competition

Participated with a team to secure and defend a simulated corporate network from cyberattacks; configured Opnsense firewalls to filter and monitor network traffic, in addition to general auditing of Linux and Windows systems.

Robotics Team Website

While attending classes at DMACC, I built a website for the Ankeny High School Robotics Team using asp .net C#. The website allowed them to advertise, facilitate communications, and track performance data.
